At UC Irvine, our surgeons work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide each patient with highly specialized individualized care. The team is prepared to deal with the full spectrum of situations requiring their skills, from accidents and traumatic injuries to acute conditions needing immediate attention. Services are based on the philosophy that when a patient is treated by a UC Irvine surgeon, he or she has access to the expertise of the entire surgical staff. Simply stated, our surgeons espouse the principle that “When patients see one of us, they see all of us.”
